The Los Angeles Dodgers are the projected favorites to with the KPSL Championship. The Josh Santora led team has built a team to succeed in the past two years and everything is coming together. After a draft that saw them continue to add even more talent, they pulled the biggest trade post draft, getting their hands on Giants pitcher Zach Wheeler.
Here is the basics of the deal:
Dodgers trade Mitch Keller, Dodgers 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round picks
to Giants for Zack Wheeler, Giants 11th, 12th, and 13th round picks
Wheeler has been a big horse in the Giants rotation and now joins a team that is led by Yoshinobo Yamamoto and Drew Rasmussen. Now with Wheeler, they just became more dangerous this season. Wheeler was a 10-game winner with the Giants last season and was amongst the leaders in ERA and Strikeouts.
