Ronald Acuna, Pablo Lopez and Corbin Carroll win for MVP, Cy Young and ROY Respectively
MVP
Ronald Acuna (1st MVP for the Marlins but 2nd for the franchise Juan Soto won in 2021 as a Giant). Somehow, he wasn’t unanimous as Freddie Freeman received 1 vote and yet Freeman was left off two ballots
CY Young
Pablo Lopez (1st CY Young for the Padres sort of, as 3 other Padres have won the Cy Young (Matt Cain, Clayton Kershaw and Hiroki Kuroda but that was with the Padres who morphed into the Cubs and then the Dodgers).
Lopez received 4 first place votes and 6 players received first place votes. Aaron Nola received 3 and Zac Gallen received 2 (Gallen was left off of 9 ballots) Lopez was left off of 1 and Nola was left off of 2 ballots
ROOKIE OF THE YEAR
Corbin Carroll this is the 7th ROY award for the Phillies (Jonathan India, Cody Bellinger, Yasiel Puig, Jason Heyward, Ryan Howard, Marlon Bryd were the prior winners)
