KPSL DRAFT RESULTS: Ohtani, Skenes, Merrill Take Top Three Spots

Five hours and fifteen round later, the 2025 KPSL Draft ended with some teams making major improvements to their rosters, whiles others are wondering what just happened.
The Los Angeles Dodgers owned the first round of the draft, holding the #1, #3, #5 and #10 picks. They would select Shohei Ohtani as the first overall pick, followed by Jackson Merrill, James Wood and Reynaldo Lopez.
The St. Louis Cardinals would land Paul Skenes as the #2 Overall Pick, while the Milwaukee Brewers selected Chris Sale at #4.

One of the wildest drafts in KPSL history, ten trades were made, including six where the Pittsburgh Pirates were involved. Some involved trading of picks for 2026. Meanwhile, Alec Bohm, Craig Kimbrel, Evan Phillips, Christian Yelich, K-Bryan Hayes, Walker Buehler, Luisangel Acuna, Lance Lynn, Pete Alonso, Rowdy Tellez and Ranger Suarez are all taking flights to new locations.
