Phillies In Full Sale Mode: Move Lindor, Bohm to Dbacks for 1st, 2nd Round Picks, Suarez and Story

The Philadelphia Philles are officially in "sale" mode. After their blockbuster with the Giants, they have made a 2nd big move. Here are the details:

Phillies trade Francisco Lindor, Alec Bohm, Fernando Cruz, Pirates 11th round pick and Phillies 12th round pick to Diamondbacks for Ranger Suarez, Trevor Story, Nolan Gorman, and Diamondbacks 1st and 2nd round picks.

For the Phillies, they gain a left-handed starter in Suarez, who was not having the best year with the Dbacks. They also land a 1st and 2nd round pick, which they are starting to load up on for the 2027 season.

Arizona has been struggling to find offense and adding SS Lindor and 3B Bohm might be the answer. In speaking with Dbacks management, this puts Otto Lopez back at 2B full time, Brendan Donovan stays at LF, Ivan Herrera will become the everyday DH, while Miguel Andujar will move to RF after he is brough back from the IL. The thought is that Lindor and Bohm will be an added spark, and they will get that test in their next three series as matchups against the Brewers, Rockies and Phillies will lead them to the break, hopefully with a winning record.
