Pre-Draft Report: Braves

The Braves franchise was quoted as saying their team was “stacked” in 2024. It turned out they were not and slid back to outside the playoffs. In 2025 they show up with a team that may need a little work and not enough picks to fill some holes.
On offense, veterans Joe Altuve and Kyle Schwarber will bring some lumber to the club while O’Neill Cruz is looked upon to be a bigger presence this season.
The pitching rotation will feature Seth Lugo and Zach Eflin being the core of this group. The Braves also look to have some strength in the bullpen, which will be a big help.
The Braves have their first two picks but then do not have a pick until the 7th round. This may spell some problems if they were looking to make some strides coming into 2025. With a little luck, they may magically creep into the playoffs.
