Pre-Draft Report: Rockies

The Rockies are focused on a few numbers coming into 2025:

15-24 - This is the Rockies record in playoff games since their last KPSL title in 2015

1-7 - This is the Rockies series record since 2015

The Rockies have been a top regular season team that flops in the playoffs for nearly a decade.  It gets...ummm...old.

So the plan in approaching the draft is twofold:

1. Have a strong team that is top-half in the league in hitting, pitching, and defense.

2. Have a team positioned to be a high-caliber playoff team.  This means having the best 10-12 cards on our team being "killers."

We think we are nearly there going into the draft.  The top of our rotation is fantastic.  The best 3-4 hitters in our offense are among the league's best.  We've got depth to address, but if the playoffs started today, we'd feel good.

The smart money is on the Rockies losing a first-round series in 2025, but we're going to try grab the KPSL brass ring!
