In a night where all four series were finished 3-1, the Rocks went to Arizona and got on the correct side of the ledger. Very tough series that could have gone either way. Let's check it out:
GAME 1
Rockies - 7
Dbacks - 5 f14
The Dbacks put up 14 hits and 4 runs on Tyler Glasnow, and would lead 5-0 going into the ninth. Pedro Avila would strike out Vientos to start the inning, but then...

- Single
- Single
- RBI single
Now 5-1, Justin Martinez replaces Avila, and the Rockies wave Pavin Smith into the box. And BANG, he gets his card's 1-17 homer shot...grand slam!
The Dbacks escape more damage, and as has happened many times between these teams, we go extra! The Rocks' Jose Butto lets up just one hit over 4 frames, but Jeremiah Estrada pitches almost 3 frames himself and stays clean. But in the 14th the Rocks break through with hits by Will Smith and Tyrone Taylor, plating 2 runs. Newbie Kyle Leahy is called on for the save, and gets it 1-2-3.
Fun fact - With Luis Arraez pulling a ROG injury in the 11th (and the Dbacks bench bare), the Dbacks had to put Gavin Stone in at first. He got an x-ball play to start the 14th, and gloved it clean for an unassisted putout!

GAME 2
Rockies - 3
Dbacks - 7
The Dbacks turn up the hit dial again, smacking 9 hits and plating 5 off of Justin Steele before the end of the 5th inning. This time there were no late-game heroics. Michael King and three relievers held the Rocks to just 6 hits and not many more baserunners. Brandan Doyle, batting ninth, had three hits and two homers!

GAME 3
Rockies - 2
Dbacks - 1
Rhett Lowder brings some rookie magic and throws six scoreless frames. The Rocks are up 1-0 in the 7th when Lane Thomas smacks a solo homer that we would need. Buck Farmer lets the first two Dbacks on in the 7th, but induces a Jesus Sanchez 6-4-3 DP that plates a run but limits the damage. Rockies win the tightest contest of the series!

GAME 4
Rockies - 8
Dbacks - 4
More come-from-behind thunder from the Rocks. Down 4-2 going to the 6th, we bat around and with 5 hits and two walks and hang a 6-spot on Martinez and Estrada. With Will Smith on the DL, Eric Haase comes up from Colorado Springs and notches 3 hits (Vientos also had 3 big hits) to help the cause.
